Ses Canyes Beach
300 meters south of the beach of Sa Roqueta, near the beach of Es Pujols, we find the Platja de Ses Canyes, a wide beach of about 200 meters long that stands out for offering a quiet bathing, in waters protected from the waves and an area sheltered from the wind.
Description of Ses Canyes Beach
Ses Canyes beach is a typical dune beach, wide and spacious, protected by vegetation and small dunes. Its southern exit to the sea is protected by the reef of Es Pujols, which makes its waters calm and the waves very weak, so the bathing is always comfortable.
The beach has not been modified or urbanized and you can find small accumulations of posidonia on the sand and shore. It is undoubtedly one of the quietest beaches of Formentera and it is common to see people practicing nudism in the area.
