Description of Es Arenals beach

The beach of Es Arenals is known by many of those who visit the island, as it has nothing to envy to other beaches of Formentera in terms of spectacularity and beauty. In addition It can be easily accessed through a paved road. It is therefore one of the busiest areas of the coast of Migjorn becasue of its easy access, having many indications and a good range of services, kiosks, restaurants and parking, all available a few meters away.

Es Arenals beach is a dune beach, with fine white sand and some shallow rocky areas where snorkeling is highly recommended.

Very familiar beach

Given that access by car is very convenient, Es Arenals is one of the areas of choice for families with children visiting Formentera, as well as the neighboring beach of Es Copinyar, with similar characteristics. Es Arenals beach, being one of the most visited bays on the island, offers a wide range of services, restaurants and beach bars, accommodation and lifeguard service.

Access

The access to the beach des Arenals is at the crossroads at kilometer 11 of the main road to La Mola, before reaching the village of Es Caló. The beach is very well signposted so it will be very easy to find the detour. Once you reach the end of the road you have a large parking area, next to the restaurants Es Arenals and Flipper & Chiller. Another parking area is located in the westernmost part of the beach, if you take the detour to the Chiringuito Piratabus.
