Lighthouse of la Savina, Formentera
La Savina Lighthouse is a very simple lighthouse, so it is perhaps the least popular of the lighthouses you will find in Formentera. However, upon arrival it is the first one you will see and with which you will say goodbye to this island.
Its mission is similar to that of the Lighthouse of Barbaria and the Lighthouse of La Mola: it serves as a guide for navigators with its signals, marks the entrance to the port of Formentera and orients aircraft in transit with its light.

The lighthouse of La Savina was also used for a long time as a beacon for helicopters, since the heliport of Formentera was right next to it. Some years ago the heliport of Formentera was moved next to the hospital and now there is a parking lot there.
