Description of Sa Roqueta beach
The beach of Sa Roqueta is a small bay of just 40 meters long, with fine sand, shallow, surrounded by a rocky area raised a couple of meters above the shore and facing east that is located near the town of Es Pujols.
Right on the beach there is a hotel and restaurant with the same name, offering unpretentious rooms and meals. The beach of Sa Roqueta is usually a bit crowded, especially during the summer days.
How to get to Sa Roqueta beach
Access by car is not from the center of Es Pujols itself, but we must leave the town towards La Savina – Illetas and after approximately one kilometer turn right towards Sa Roqueta/Rosamar hotels.
You can also get there on foot from Ses Canyes beach or Levante beach.
Origin of its name
It is named after the small rocky cape that is close to the area and after which the hotel that is installed there was named. The main beach of Sa Roqueta is about 40 meters long and is located at the foot of the hotel, however a little further north, following the pedestrian path, we find three small corners where we can also install ourselves to enjoy our beach day.
