Formentera’s markets come back to life: they are now back in operation!
Since last May 1st, the vibrant atmosphere of the markets has returned to the beautiful island of Formentera. With the arrival of the spring month, the markets have started up again, kicking off another tourist season and offering residents and visitors a unique experience full of color, flavor and local culture.
In Formentera, the markets are much more than just shopping places; They are authentic epicenters of the social and cultural life of the island. Each of them has its own charm and personality, offering a variety of artisan products, local cuisine and live entertainment.

Hippy Market la Mola

Second hand market
Last but not least, the least known of Formentera’s markets: the second-hand market, which is organized on Tuesday and Saturday mornings behind the church of Sant Francesc.
